Juicy pan-seared beef steaks

Juicy pan-seared beef steaks

2 veal steaks, approx. 280-300 g each
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1 tbsp. rosemary, finely chopped
1 tsp. savory
60 g Pdo Sitia Extra Virgin Olive Oil "Golden Creta Savouidakis"
100 g "Aspro Pato" Dry White Table Wine
60 g chicken broth or water
Salt & freshly ground black pepper

Wash the steaks and wipe them well.
Place them in a small basin and pour 20 g of Pdo Sitia Extra Virgin Olive Oil "Golden Creta Savouidakis" all over them.
Add the garlic, rosemary and savory and adjust the taste with salt and pepper.
Leave them in a cool place to marinate for 20-25 mins.
Veal steaks are naturally quite tender and, thanks to the marinade, they will gain extra flavor.
Then, place a pan over the heat and add the remaining Pdo Sitia Extra Virgin Olive Oil "Golden Creta Savouidakis" .
Once heated, add the steaks over medium-high heat.
Brown them for 4 mins on both sides and add the "Aspro Pato" Dry White Table Wine.
Add the broth and allow them to come to a boil all together.
Finish by cooking them in a pre-heated oven at 175°C for 10 more minutes (no need to flip the steaks again).
