Grandmother's fasting buns


Although fasting, no one will be able to resist the smell and taste of this recipe.

Materials

• ½ glass of water Extra Virgin Olive Oil "Lof"
• 1 glass of water sugar
• 1 glass of water Red Dry Wine "Aspros Patos"
• 1 baking powder (20gr)
• ½ tsp cinnamon and cloves powder 
• ½ glass of water toasted sesame seeds
• ¼ shot of Tsikoudia Crete "EXA"
• Flour for all uses 


Execution 

• In a pan, lightly toast the sesame seeds.
• In a basin, add the olive oil and sugar, stir until melt.
• Over the basin I take the glass of wine, add the soda and stir. This process is done over the basin because it foams.
• To some flour, I have add the baking powder, cinnamon, cloves and mix it all together.
• Add the flour to the bowl with the olive oil and mix.
• Then add the sesame seeds and the tsikoudia.
• Start mixing, and add enough flour until the dough comes away from your hands.
• Shape into an oblong shape, place on a baking tray with parchment paper, with a small distance between them because they will rise.
• Bake at 180oC until golden brown.
