Cod with garlic dip
Ingredients
• Salted cod
• 1 can of beer
• Flour
• Salt
• 2 cloves of garlic
• 2 slices of bread (stale)
• 2 tbsp. "Lof" Extra Virgin Olive Oil
• 1 handful of walnuts
• Salt - white pepper
• 1 tsp. vinegar
• Parsley (optional)
Execution
• Remove the skin from the cod and place the cod in the water.
• It must remain in the water for 24 to 36 hours and the water must be changed 3-4 times, so that the fish does not completely lose its flavor.
• Prepare the batter by adding flour and beer in a large bowl until it looks like a mush and it sticks well to the fish, without dripping.
• Add salt only after trying the batter.
• Fry in a non-stick pan with very hot "Lof" Extra Virgin Olive Oil for a short time.
• On the previous day, you should make the garlic sauce, as it is preferable that it stays in the fridge for one day in order to get the taste right.
• In the Multi, add the bread, the garlic, the salt, the vinegar, the walnuts and the "Lof" Extra Virgin Olive Oil slowly, constantly beating them together.
