Cereal crackers with extra virgin olive oil
Ingredients
• 2 cups wholemeal rye flour
• 1 cup oats
• 1 cup roasted sesame
• ½ cup flax seeds
• 2 tbsp. ground flax seeds
• 2 tbsp. sunflower seeds
• 2 tbsp. pumpkin seeds
• ½ cup "Lof" Extra Virgin Olive Oil
• 1 tbsp. brown sugar
• 1 tbsp. honey
• 1 tsp. salt
• 2 cups of hot water
Execution
• Gather all the ingredients in a bowl.
• Add the hot water and stir.
• Allow 20-30 mins for the cereal to absorb the liquids.
• Spread the mix on a baking tray with greaseproof paper and sprinkle with some sesame.
• You can mentally divide it into squares.
• Cook in a preheated oven for 1 ½ hour at 180°C.
• Open the oven door and leave the crackers to cool off inside the oven.
• Once they have cooled off, they will become crispy.
